Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs:
For over 40 years, Hope House Behavioral Health Services has been offering client centered treatment options for adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues who reside in Morris, Sussex, Passaic, and Warren Counties. Services are co-occurring enhanced, meaning that the Hope House staff are uniquely qualified to provide services to those who may struggle with mental health issues as wellas substance abuse issues. Hope House Outpatient Programs (OP) and are available in both English and Spanish and serve between 200-300 individuals each year. Treatment in the outpatient programs is tailored to meet the needs of each individual and can consist of a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy. All clients also have access to the Medical Director for psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring if needed. The Medical Director at Hope House has extensive knowledge and experience treating substance use and mental health disorders in both adolescents and adults. The Medical Director is ASAM certified and bilingual in English and Spanish. Funding for these programs is through Medicaid, the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Morris County. Hope House offers a sliding scale to determine client fees if they do not qualify for these funding sources.

Anger Management:
The Hope House Anger Management Program for men is provided in English and offered in group format. The program is approximately 8-12 weeks for in length and utilizes a curriculum that focuses on anger triggers, recognizing signs and symptoms of anger, coping skills for anger, and ways to express and manage anger in a health way. Group is didactic and supportive in nature. This service is paid for on a fee-for-service basis using a sliding scale to determine the amount the client is responsible for.
